MonkeyDonk
The game was develop during the 2010 Nordic Game Jam.
The theme for the Global Game Jam was -- deception
The local contraint was -- A monkey, a donkey or a key
The game was developed in 48 hours and was a fun and exiting challenge for me to do.
The Game:
Two player game.
As the disguised donkey you have to mimic the monkey AIs behavior, in order to avoid detection while gathering bananas for your monkey love. At the start of the game your first task is to figure out which one of the monkeys you control.
As the zoo-keeper your job is to discover the deceptive donkey amongst the monkeys. Try to figure out which monkey that does not fit the movement patterns of the other monkeys, and keep an eye on the bananas as the disguised monkey will steal them. Pointing with your crosshair and clicking you can get a group of monkey AIs to freeze. Hopefully you will catch a glimpse of slightly off movement from the donkey-dressed-as-monkey. If you feel confident that you have spotted the deciever, toggle on your gun and shoot it!
